Founded by residents in 1998, the Helderberg Village Choir has been making music—and memories—for over 25 years. Membership is now open to both residents and non-residents, with a balanced mix encouraged. Love to sing? You’re welcome to join! No need to read music—just bring your enthusiasm.
Led by a professional musician and run by a dedicated committee, the choir performs several concerts a year (often to full, paying audiences) and shares the joy of music across the Village, including in Healthcare.
More than just singing, it's about friendship, laughter, and community. Highlights include our annual Fun Concert, where the mood is informal and the joy is infectious.

Rehearsals, to the accompaniment of a grand piano, take place in Talani Terrace at the Village every Friday throughout the year, except during December holidays, Concerts are performed in Talani Terrace and at Heatherton House.
